Goal #1:  All students will improve higher level thinking skills across the curriculum.

Higher level thinking is defined as using logic and reasoning to:

• Translate and interpret information
• Make connections to prior learning
• Prioritize and condense information

Goal #2:  All students will improve writing skills across the curriculum.

Writing skills are defined as using editing to:

• Use appropriate vocabulary and conventions for content, audience and purpose
• Use writing to express ideas and content in a coherent manner
